Yup, another trip blog! We're headed off to Nashville on Monday to visit kids and grandkids!
It's Saturday night. Instead of going Cajun dancing with Whozyamama (our buddies Tammy and Claudette--great sound, great dances!) right down the street, I'm goofing off with this and then going back to grading, grading, grading before we leave!
We cut down some of the table in the trailer so that we can sit more easily on the bed and so that the T-Lou cave under the bed is a bit more accessible to aging doggie. This second time out feels lots better. A month early gives us a chance of decent weather (i.e. not 100 degrees in Nashville), and we have lots of experience with the Scamp trailer now!
Last week, the shift key and another key went blotto on my laptop and the electric door on the van broke. That was feeling bad, but after pulling out a few pounds of dog hair in the keyboard and figuring out how to turn the buzzer off in the van (as well as getting the cord yanked so that now it's a manually opening door), things are feeling positively cheery.
